English/Multilingual Learners

English learners-- also referred to as English language learners (ELL)-- are students whose native language is not English and who are learning English. English learners have a variety of language backgrounds, educational experiences and levels of English proficiency. They face the challenge of acquiring content knowledge in English at the same time as they acquire English as an additional language. These products provide teachers with resources to meet the needs of English learners.
